This is a place to vent, rant and/or discuss frustrations and disbelief of the un-"common sense" things that go on in our society.

To give you a little background, I was born and raised in Washington state. Adopted at age 3, my folks were than most of my friends parents, but as I have gotten older, I have come to appreciate what that did for me.

My mother, the oldest of 13 children, had a difficult life, including raising some of her siblings when her mother passed away at a relatively young age. My father, the youngest of 3 kids, lost his father when he was about 8, and was shipped off to live with an uncle. Because of their backgrounds and the way they were raised, a lot of their survival and growth was based on "common sense" thinking.

Luckily for me(although I didn't always think so), they raised me to have those same "common sense" skills.

I often catch myself wondering (both quietly and aloud) what people were doing or thinking, because things seem very simple and straight forward to me. And, often when speaking to like minded people, I hear the explanation "Common sense is not common anymore".

This blogspot will be where I ponder those same questions. Please feel free to agree or disagree with me, and comment. All I ask is that you keep an open mind and, do not direct anything at a person. This is not meant as a place to attack individuals, and comments that are mean or vicious will be removed.
